Last round of Renault Clio Cup Championship 2011 in Italy, last weekend on Varano de'Melegari. My girlfriend and her father were ready to race in those two sunny weekend days. GIRL? Yes, i say girl! There are 2 girls in the Clio Cup Italy and you should never underrate them, you could burn! I'm very lucky to have a girlfriend who likes racing and driving fast! MX5 Miata NA - Lotus Elan style

Lotus Elan can be partially considered the spiritual mom of Mazda Miata/MX5. The design is really similar and the philosophy of "light is better" is the same. I have always loved the look of Lotus Elan, and her bicolor paint. Many MX5/Miata owners in the world made their tribute to the Elan, painting the japanese spyder with the storical bicolor Elan Sprint paint scheme.

Fake Nardi steering wheel on Ebay - Fail

Driftworks Staff bought a fake Nardi 'style' steering wheel off eBay to see just how bad, dangerous and rubbish they are! This applies to all fake steering wheels including fake Personal wheels, OMP, Sparco, Momo etc! It bends only with just a light push! Shit!

Parts Corner - Custom RollBar on MX5 PHRT/RC

Every MX5 NC owner, can see that the stock rollbar is really low! If, in your life, you do a rollover, i think that the first thing that touch the ground is your head, and not our stock RollBar. A Rollover can happen, not only in a Racing Track at high speed, but stupidly also at 30Km/h in a public road if another car hurt your one in a unlucky mode... Sometimes laws are stupid, and in many country (like in Italy) you can not add safe to your car... So i'm legal, but in a rollover i will dead. Or one day i can decide to install a serious RollBar, being illegal, but in case of rollover i can preserve my head.

Today i want to show you the custom RollBar, on a MX5 NC PHRT/Roadster Coupè, of a Miata.net user (Cyberbug). Really nice RollBar, here some pics of the work:

Waiting for F1 Monza Grand Prix 2011

One week before the Italian F1 Grand Prix at Monza in a rainy Sunday walking around the box area.
