I'have always had the passion for driving simulators and for many years i have raced in many online championship, on the best simulators made. Simulators on PC, like GTR2 +mods, Race07, GTR Evo, NetKar Pro (one of the greatest), Live for Speed and iRacing. Not Arcade! I hate Arcade... Three years ago i've built a F1 style Race Cockpit made by wood, for race online. Sparco Seat, Logitech G25 wheel, and modded G25 pedal and shifter. One day i'll also post pics of the cockpit. IRacing, is undoubtedly a great simulator, but is quite expensive... Pay for subscription, pay for every track, for every new car. You pay all, but you have a real great simulator, always updated, new cars, new tracks, race every minute, full stat. There are thousand of racers online and every minute you find always strong drivers to race with. Races are officially-sanctioned so the drivers are generally correct, and clean. I have tried iRacing one years ago, with a free try month, offered on Radical Website, so i have been able to appreciate the simulation and the Pontiac Solstice (the basic car you can try). Now i see on the Net, that next month they release the MX5 Cup content! The preview video, is fantastic! I think that, i will buy one or three month subscription for test and race this new fantastic content, our MX5 NC on Cup version.
If you are new to Racing Simulation, or to iRacing, take a look on the Home of iRacing: iRacing Website
